Senior portraits in Carthage, Missouri are stunning by highlighting a senior’s activities. When a sweet friend’s son is a senior and they have come to you for portraits for their daughter and their family portraits in years past, you know you have some special with this session! This senior did not disappoint! We had a blast chasing down the sun to capture all of his interests. We started downtown in an alley and at the post office. Just some regular places that no one notices but let me tell you, this senior made them historic!
A quick clothing change and a couple steps down the street and boom! A whole other look for this senior’s portraits! I love to capture a senior’s personality! Even the occasionally “sticking tongue out at mom” look! Classic and clean and maybe one of my all time favorite pictures. Oh but wait there is more so there are more favorites to come!
A little drive over to the golf course and we end up with the most AH-MaZ-iNg senior pictures! The Sky… the green course… the sunset… and a fun senior and we end up with these unique senior pictures. This is why I love senior photography!
I kinda of had a slight panic… once we finished at the golf course the sun was going down. It is so crazy how you think you have all the time in the world, but folks, the sun sets fast, faster than you think! So as we are driving to the stadium, I know we are going to lose the sun. But as we get on the field I realize that we have the most absolutely amazing sunset I have ever seen. (Side note: all the colors were in this sky, but not until I add my custom edits does the color of the sky come to life like this! That why I don’t do fast quick edits and give you something half done. A once-in-a-lifetime moment requires knowledge, expertise & passion)
This is a once every 10 years gig and only for the first half of the century… To have a senior stand on the 20 yard line for the Class of 2020! Let that sink in for a quick minute! AND this is the moment that lasts forever!
One last portrait to match sister’s senior portrait and their family portrait. Taken on one of Carthage’s historic streets, in front of one of the most beautiful houses in town. Again, such a fun shoot with a amazing senior!
