Outdoor family pictures are one of my most favorite times! Fall in Missouri is beautiful and we were able to take advantage of one of the last beautiful fall days in Carthage, Missouri with this family’s gorgeous pictures! We started in downtown Carthage and it was a super windy day but it was a little bit cloudy so we could really take pictures any where we wanted. We worked with the wind and were able to show off all this fun-filled family!

We left the red brick and found a little stairwell on the Carthage square. This family just rocked their posing, smiles and their wonderful style! I love showing siblings together plus showing each of them with their mom. It shows off that special bond between each of them! I also had mom take a few by herself to show off how beautiful she is!

Just for fun I ask for the kids to kiss mom… It was just so fun! Did I tell you that they are fun?

Then we headed over to the beautiful Battle of Carthage. One little tree was just showing off. And I think this little tree did a great job with its beautiful colors. Just a beautiful setting for amazing fall pictures!

At almost sunset we headed to my place. I have a field in the back part of our 11 acres. I have never taken any pictures back there but I’m so glad we did! These pictures turned out stunning and some of my very favorite!

Taking family pictures doesn’t have to be when they are tiny humans. Be sure to take the time like this family to capture the wonderful humans that they are becoming. Make them hold your hand and maybe kiss you on the cheek. Record those special times with pictures because they grow… oh so fast… they grow!

This mom had a vision for the following picture. As her kids are growing up and finding their own path, she is in the background cheering them on. Watching them from a distance, maybe a little farther away than she has ever been, but she knows they are growing up to be wonderful! And she is proud of them as the venture out on their own.
