As a mom, I just love family pictures! I know that moms everywhere can relate. Life gets busy and maybe just a little crazy and kids grow. We wish they wouldn’t grow so fast but life moves at a fast pace even though we try to hold it back! So maybe that’s why I love family pictures so much. The time I take with a family is a short time with a family but the results are something that will last a lifetime! I had a blast with this gorgeous family. These family pictures were taken at the Historic Phelps House in Carthage, Missouri for their 10th wedding anniversary. The Phelps house is where they got married so how cool is that?!? We started inside the Phelps house in the bridal room. This room is just so dreamy!! With the white flowing curtains, the pale blue wallpaper and window bench, what could we get but dreamy portraits? Mom’s clothing choices were amazing and these girls couldn’t be more cute!
So I have to say… I didn’t add this haze! Just the room, the light and two precious girls!
I don’t know about you, but this room called for spinning! Yes, spinning. If you have a flowy dress and you have a dance floor, it’s time to spin!
Then we took a step outside to the front lawn. And viola’! Pure beauty! We did want to capture a few pictures of the cute couple on the lawn where they got married 10 years ago!
A couple portraits of the gorgeous girls! Did I mention we had fun?? Go ahead and look at their faces… we had a blast! It might have been hot but we laughed and smiled and that makes for true beauty!

So at the very end, I asked dad to dip mom… Do you see the eyebrow?? I rolled! But this is one of my favorite images!
