Baby pictures are oh so cute but they are also a priceless investment. I say this over and over but babies are newborn for such a short, short time! They grow and change so very fast! As a mom of 3, I know first hand how fast time flies in those early newborn days and how hard it is to remember every detail. That is why newborn sessions have so much value. To be able to look back and remember that sweet beautiful newborn stage is priceless in my book!

I love when families come back to Celesta Champagne Photography for a second child’s newborn pictures! Such a special time to see the family again and see how their family has grown. This sweet baby boy brought his mom and dad and older sister with him. Since mom booked his session way in advance, I was able to purchase this oh so adorable navy handmade outfit all the way from Poland! Don’t you just love the buttons? I don’t think anything could have been more perfect for this little guy!

After some of the bean bag posed shots, I was able to transfer this sweet baby boy to this bowl with a knitted layer and gray fluff. He looks so warm and cozy!

The portrait below has to be one of my all time favorite newborn pictures. There is just something about his sweet face and innocent look that draws you in and just lets you know that everything is right in the world! Plus, he was actually kinda of funny about his hands. I wanted to put his hands in certain places and he was having none of it. He put his hands where “he” wanted to. And I think he did an amazing job posing!

Before baby is born, I send out a questionnaire to mom to fill out. This allows me the opportunity to ask a few questions and find out information about the family’s style and likes. Well I found out, they love baseball… both dad AND mom! So I knew I had to pull out all my baseball props for this home run kind of portrait!

Older sister, which I mentioned before that I took her newborn pictures, arrived with dad toward the end of the session. We had so much fun with her cute looks. If I were to caption this picture, it would say…

“I have my eye on you… I was first here ya know!”

But can their love be any cuter?

I get asked often if family pictures and sibling pictures are included… It’s a big YES! Family is the most important. To show this perfect connection with the whole family and with mom and dad, is one of my favorite parts of the newborn session.

A few more newborn baseball pictures to wrap up this boy’s session. Dad brought in one of his baseball gloves. And oh I just love incorporating family heirlooms. Makes the portrait even more special and meaningful!

These are all the images that the family chose from their newborn session. I provide printed wall art and keepsake albums so these will be cherished in their hands and on their walls forever! If you would like to preserve those little details that seem to flutter by, reach out today!

xoxo,

Celesta
