This little man came in for his newborn session at 16 days old! And let me tell you he was a snuggler! Just so sweet with #cheeksfordays, he was a joy to photograph as well as his mom was a joy to hang out with. Moms might wonder about him being a little over the 10 day old mark for newborn pictures, but I provide parent prep tip sheet that walks parents through the ways to have baby ready for his newborn photo session. Following the tips ensures for a successful session just like this handsome baby boy’s session even if they are a little “older”. (Saying a 16 day old is old is kinda funny! LOL) Mom requested navy outfits as well as a touch of fall thrown in. I am in love with this outfit by Dime a Daisee. The cream thermal top with a hood and the textured navy and white striped pants looks stunning on this sweet baby boy!

Since he was a fall baby we threw in some fall leaves. Then switched to an all white set up. I love how he pops from the white and he looks so cozy!

Another sweet outfit from Dime a Daisee! I’m in love with these overalls that has a tree design plus big brown buttons with a little brown pocket on the front. It seems as though these overalls were just made for him!

Dad is an army recruiter so we threw in some red, white and blue as a tribute to him. I’m not sure what this little guy was thinking about when he made this funny face but I sure love sharing funny faces with parents. They are alway keepers!

Pictures with mom and dad are always my favorite! We do these pictures at the end of the session when baby is a wrapped up tight in one of my wraps that I provide. Oh I haven’t mentioned that I provide all the outfits, backdrops and props for every newborn session. This makes it super easy on mom. She can just show up and I take care of the rest. Oh back to mom and dad pictures. I just can’t get enough of this sweet baby boy being held by his dad. Such a precious moment for sure!

Then it’s mom’s turn. Isn’t she just gorgeous?!? Completely stunning! I almost cry when I see these. There is nothing more precious to me than capturing mom with her fresh newborn. They will never be this little again. And as moms we are just plain tired during these early days that it just seems to be a blur. For me, that’s why I love my job so much that it doesn’t even seem like a job. I’m a time freezer (kinda sounds like a super hero)! As moms, we want to press the pause button, soak up this little moment and bathe ourselves in it. When I capture the love in this picture, I give this moment back to mom and they feel like they can step back in time and be in that moment once again.

Precious family pictures too! Can’t you feel the love?

Since this little cuddler was wrap up tight and was completely loving being swaddled, I popped him back on the bean bag for these beautiful pictures!

I say it over and over, you will never regret newborn pictures! Like E.V.E.R.!! Contact me to today if I can help you freeze a couple moments in time! I might not have a super suit but these pictures will always be super to this family! Ok, now I’m really crying…. haha!

Celesta
