Awww baby boy pictures are just the sweetest!
This newborn session held in my Carthage, Missouri photography studio features an adorable baby boy. His mom reached out to me around 20 weeks to get booked on my calendar and I anticipated his arrival for so long! I was so thrilled for his newborn session. Mom requested buffalo plaid which made me very excited because I had this buffalo plaid romper in my closet waiting for just the perfect session.
I love setting up the perfect little session for each family. Mom tells me the colors that she has decorated her son’s nursery with and I coordinate with all of my props and accessories so everything will match. In the bowl, I can capture all of the details like fingers and toes! All the little things that you want to remember in years to come!
Mom brought in a lantern that was this little guy’s great-grandfathers lantern. Baby’s mom turned into a nightlight for his nursery. I love to incorporate little details like these into the baby session. All these little memories help tell the story of the past and the future!
Then it was time for parent pictures! This part of the session means so much to me. As parents, this newborn time goes by just so fast so it is important to document your very first family portrait. And look, at his little smile when he was placed in his mom’s arms! swoon!
The next picture is one of my all time favorites! I love when dads hold their newborn baby in their hands. Shows how protected they will be always in their dad’s hands. Which do you like, the color or black/white?
A little more portraits while I have baby wrapped up! I have so many different props that sometimes it is hard for me to narrow down which ones I want to use, but I had more buffalo plaid accessories that we had to show off his cuteness even more! And I’m in love with the new wrapping techniques that I have learned. I am always learning so I can provide my clients with the best photography session!
And goodness! This little black and white set up with the sweetest little bear makes me smile! The little bear has “LOVE” written on his nose! What could be better? I find the best props and details for newborn sessions so mom and doesn’t have to shop for anything. Just show up with baby and let me take care of the rest!
And finally… I knew that this baby boy’s parents were huge Kansas City Chiefs fans! So the night that the Chiefs won the AFC championship, I rushed to order this perfect Kansas City Chief newborn uniform and the sweetest little football! I order from the best vendors around so that the clothing fits and looks perfect. The company delivered the uniform in perfect time and we were able to have these priceless pictures in time for the Kansas City Chiefs to WIN the Superbowl!
