Hanging out with this Neosho, Missouri senior was… well what can I say…a BLAST! At first he was not really interested in senior pictures, BUT in the end we all had so much fun. I love the opportunity to show off all his musical “loves”. From pictures with his saxophone to his electric guitar, it was a musical led senior shoot. The day after this senior session, he played in his last high school jazz concert. So these portraits are pretty special!
I almost put out an upside down hat and collected some money! You should have heard him… with the downtown Neosho buildings so close together, the sound of his sax was just amazing!
After a few downtown brick shots, we headed over to a weathered door. His older brother had portraits taken here and so it was great to capture some familiar looks, but adding in his Les Paul Epiphone was anything but old-school!
Then mom turns around and sees another great location… Just a few feet down this wall was a completely different look. I just love it when clients have a vision and we can make that vision happen! So viola’, another amazing look and we had to walk just a couple of steps!
This young man is amazing. At 18 he has been preaching at several churches in the area. We were able to go to his home church and capture a couple of images there. God has so many things already planned for him and I love seeing his enthusiasm and his excitement for sharing God’s word!
Sometimes, senior pictures is just plain hard work! LOL
Back at his home, when the sun was setting just over the hill, we took a moment to meet at the cross. A cross him and his dad built together…priceless.
I say it all the time… I love my job. I just said today, as I was delivering this senior’s album, that I feel like I’m leaving as family. Thank you for entrusting me with these moments. I cherish them.
xoxo,
Celesta
