styled newborn session | beautiful baby girl

This sweet baby girl came to my Carthage, Missouri studio at 8 weeks old but you would never know! She was oh so dreamy and just beautiful! When I asked mom what colors they wanted… ( I do ask so that I can coordinate the backdrops, outfits and headbands to be exactly what colors the family loves ), she said rich colors. I was so excited for her to say that! This sweet orange and navy outfit has been in my newborn studio closet (Yes! I have a closet full of newborn outfits to choose from ) for sometime now and was just so excited to use this sweet little romper and match it with this gorgeous antique lace backdrop!

Can I just take a moment and mention this baby girl’s eyelashes?? They are absolutely swoon worthy! Just a pure beauty!

Her sweet little family was so fun to capture as well! I love taking time from the newborn part of a session, to capture parents and family shots as well as pictures just with big sister! I also loved getting the chance to take big sister’s pictures just by herself.

Sometimes the newborn time of life is such a crazy blur. With the late night feedings and all the changing of diapers, moms and dads are a little tired and sometimes remembering all the details is hard. That’s where I come in. Taking a few hours to document these little details is priceless in my book. Things will come and go. And babies grow and never stay oh so small, but this photograph that is hanging on your wall or in an album, freezes that tiny detail that can live long in your mind even when things change so fast!

I found out at the end of the session, that grandpa is a Royals coach! What??? So of course, I had to break out all our baseball and Royals gear! I have baseballs that I don’t let my son even touch! But we did have to go raid my son’s room for his Royal’s baseball and grab my husband’s hat. And Viola! #RAISEDROYAL

Did you know that I have a superpower??? Why, yes, I can freeze time! Contact me today if you would like for me to use my superpower freeze time just for a moment. So you can have priceless heirlooms that allow you to remember the all the tiny details of your precious baby.
