Rejoice in her happy smile! She is only a little girl for such a little while!

Oh my lanta! I am just so in love with this sweet baby girl’s newborn session held at my studio in Carthage, MO which is close to Joplin, Missouri.  I’m just swoonin’… if one can swoon over pictures… that would be me!  She was just so perfect for her session!  Let me tell ya, she hardly made a peep until the very end and then she was D.O.N.E.  But we were able to get so many different poses that I am so excited to show off her session!

I love that my job is a special part of a newborn’s life.  My job is more than pictures, it’s preserving special memories for parents, for grandparents and for the future when future generations look back on these portraits.  It’s special… and I feel so blessed and humbled that I get to be a small part in this memory making.  As a mom of three, I know how hard it is to remember how little they were, how small their toes and fingers were and how peaceful they are when they sleep.  So it thrills be to be able to capture the “littles” of a newborn.  Did I say that I love my job?

During the consultation with this sweet girl’s momma, she said she loved color!  Bringing in her favorite colors was so fun and I believe makes these portraits just stunning!  I love that I can provide the outfits, accessories and props for the photography session.  I make the investment in only the best so that mom doesn’t have to and these precious outfits and headbands make for stunning results!

So I had this purple bow with rope headband, ready to go with this outfit because I thought the contrast was unique and lovely all at the same time!  And then I lost the bow! Like we were going crazy trying to find it.  Baby was getting restless and goodness we were running out of time for her to sleep but where was the bow… it was just right here!  Well turns out, I had stuffed it under the blanket when I was trying to keep her from moving her arm.  She did not want me to put her arm next to her body.  She was letting me know she was in charge.  But we managed to find the bow and keep her arm at her side and then BOOM!… She smiled.  I’m telling you, this smile stops me in my tracks!  Nothing better than a baby smile while sleeping! Swoon!

And then she was DONE.  She gave me this big yawn and she was totally over this whole situation!  It takes around 3-4 hours to capture a full gallery.  But this newborn girl did not disappoint!  One of the most beautiful galleries to date!

Brother and sister made an appearance with new baby sister!  They were such a joy to work with.  We had fun!  I strive to make this an enjoyable time for everyone!

If ever you want to capture some pure sweetness… give me a holler!  Did I say I love my job?!?

xoxo,

Celesta
